Many of the major PC players and a few of the eBook content providers themselves have jumped feet first into the eBook reader market. It would seem only natural the biggest name in book distribution would jump all over the category as it gives Amazon a hardware revenue stream, a cheaper book deliver system and probably a nice save the environment story.. sort of. Sony is all over the new product category as well. However I suspect it will be the shanzhai players that get a sizable chunk of what some say will be a billion dollar industry. Read more...
