Reuters has a piece saying that an “analyst” has said the Apple iPhone and China Unicom deal will be announced as early as Friday. This pithy 3 line article also reminds us that Taiwanese manufacture Hon Hai will be doing the honors for making the devices. Considering there are already an estimated illegally jailbroken 1.5 million real iPhones already in China me thinks Hon Hai will be busy little bees.
Although this source quotes no one of any credibility the WSJ article here, has Edward Synder musing that Apple won’t do that well. Read on.
