Are we ready for watch phones?

Walking down the eerily abandoned street you look up at a street lamp casting its warm yellow light towards you, masking the bleak grey sky above. Your long coat blows out behind you as you pick up the pace. Is that a car behind you? No. You’ll have the make it on foot. Rain breaks free of the clouds and fires down in cold jets. You take one last look up and down the street. No one’s coming. Bringing your wrist up to your mouth you push back the sleeve of your coat to reveal a watch.
