Dell Streaks into the MID er… tablet market!

















On the face of it MIDs, as originally defined by Intel for their Atom chip, have not been a particularly successful device category. On the other hand if you look at things from an ARM perspective it turns out Apple’s iPod Touch (which I would certainly call a MID) has sold over 17 million units and is almost matching the iPhone for sales volumes these days.
