New color screen eReader
Chinese company, Smart Devices, have come out with a few semi-popular tablet devices like the SmartQ 5 and 7, but if the new SmartQ R7 lives up to its billing it could be the best yet. It looks pretty sleek and the backside design that’s a third textured leather, not only looks unique but provides decent grip too. It sports a 7” 800 x 600 resolution LCD resistive touchscreen and includes a stylus built into the body of the device. Of course, because of the screen, unlike with other eReaders, reading at night without ambient lighting is possible, though you’d have to imagine battery life isn’t nearly as good. No word on price and availability yet, but if it’s any indication, the SmartQ 7 sold for around USD 250. read more...
