gPad of course being the new device rumored to be in the works by Google in response to Apples iPad. The answer is yes and no… don’t you hate that kind of answer? The yes part goes for Android app developers who plan to develop apps that are targeted at larger pad-sized (as opposed to smart phone sized) devices. The gPad project means Google is focused on creating the OS compatibility with dare I say the apps, keyboards, printers, resolutions, outputs, IO in general that will suit the larger tablet devices. That’s great news too for shanzhai tablet manufacturers who want Android up to speed for their devices too. Or at least it will improve their chances of their devices functionality being better.
